Poor quality costs more.
Why do all your vegetables cost a load more. Yet taste mouldy?

Bad carrots, radishes, broccoli.

Awful.

On Line Delivery
This is my first time in using Sainsbury's home delivery service. I received my delivery at 5.00 pm with "Taste the Difference" baking potatoes best before date of that same day. Plus 800g of over-ripe strawberries who were best eaten by the end of the next day. Plus many items were replaced for far more expensive ones. I have used Waitrose previously which actually worked out cheaper because everything was edible and had a good life span.

GET YOUR CRATES OFF OF MY DOORMAT
I had a delivery yesterday in Winchester. The driver said he was parked on a double yellow line so could he leave the crates and he will come back later. He didn't come back. I have called customer services twice and was told twice they would be picked up Today. Guess what, it is 11.20pm and they are still there. Outside my door is as big as a postage stamp so they are not wanted there. COME AND GET THE UGLY RED CRATES PLEASE.

Update It is now 1pm the next Day and they are still there.

5.30pm and still there. The neighbours cat is relaxing in one of them so I suggest when you do finally collect it, you give it a good clean.

Finally collected at 8pm but it took 4 phone calls to customer services and 1 to the store.

Lost the plot
They compare themselves to Aldi, but Aldi should be offended.
Cramlington Sainsbury’s is like a cash and carry.
I’m fed up of getting my Nectar Sainsbury’s offers only for them not to be available.
The offers should be geared to my shopping habits and to the store I shop in, which is the Cramlington one, and allegedly that’s supposed to be a superstore.
Poorly stocked at that.

Placed an order in the evening for next…
Placed an order in the evening for next day delivery - on delivery day was informed 20 milks weren’t available! Customer service said bulk orders are “ fulfilled subject to the discretion of the store” - in other words whether I get my items or not depends on a mood of a store manager that day WHAT A STUPID POLICY! If they allow me to place an order for 20 items, took my money (by the way charged me more for substitutions even though gave me worse quality milk!!!) then I expect my order to arrive unless something exceptional happens.
Total waste of time and money. Will never shop there again, back to Ocado.

A Service Industry Company That Has Lost Sight of the Basics
My wife & I recently shopped at Sainsbury's. It is not an experience we are keen to repeat. For decades we did our weekly shop at the store but no more. Fruit & Veg: they no longer provide bags, a triumph of virtue signalling. Why can't they supply brown paper bags like in the 60s & 70s. Made of recycled paper and recyclable. No you have to provide your own. My answer is we buy our fruit & veg elsewhere. Then at the end of the evening you arrive at the tills and only 1, yes 1, is manned. It has a long queue of trollies and rather than stand for 30 minutes people were forced to use the self-scan. I hate self scan. Sainsbury's is a service industry company that cannot be bothered to serve. My wife & I now use Waitrose where there are no such issues and the staff and happy to help.

What a lcoad of BS
What a load of BS. I went in but a lot of "all-in one cards" to give as gifts to staff. One said they refused to take them. I went in and asked what was going on. Was told it can be used in Argos but not Sainsbury's. Sorry are you not the same company. Management told me not our problem if you want to but food you can do so at marks and Spencer or Waitrose! Okay in future I will buy the gift vouchers from there as well. Total crap customer service. Told the manger not happy was told shop somewhere else then! Money talks!

I am very concerned lately about Sainsburys ! What has happened to my favourite shop, well it was, empty shelves (no pandemic !) Basic unappetising chicken portions and so expensive for what they are, sell by dates are past sell dates, mouldy strawberries, and that was my last shop, today dont raise the covers on the fridges said the Assistant, oh so i cant shop today, blimey, i had to go to my new favourite shop instead, where i should have gone in the first place ! Oh Sainsburys 30 odd years a shopper, now ive had to jump ship !! So sad ?

sainsburys are driving customers away
sainsburys are driving customers away, by trying to force people to use either self scan or smart shop devices, by having tills that are forever producing errors, in pricing,in voucher discounts & in rewards vouchers redemption, & to add insult to injury the customer services direct you to an on-line system that is impossible to contact anyone at sainsburys. so now theyve lost more customers, and they deserve to lose all the customers for being inaccessible, dishonourable, and dictatorial

Sainsburys quality has gone downhill
Sainsburys quality has gone downhill, its in fact worse than Lidl and Aldi for most things, also the Taste the difference range does not warrant the extra cost.

Now i will be going to Marks and Spencers as the prices are the same, but for higher quality!

Also i will be doing the rest of my small shopping at Lidl and Aldi.

What is the point of low quality at high prices?

Even Tesco is now cheaper than Sainsburys and has better quality!

DISGRACEFUL!

Incompetence by Customer Services
In late June 2022 I received a recall notice regarding an item I had purchased on 31st May 2022 (A little late don’t you think). Anyway I returned the item via my next delivery early July. Since then I have phoned customer services on 5 occasions and despite being promised a refund it never materialises. I am given all sorts of reassurance’s but words have many shadows. I have also been disconnected while explaining the problem, twice, In my pure frustration I have emailed Simon Roberts (CEO) to explain to him the inadequacies of his customer services team. Will I get a reply, highly unlikely, will I get my refund that I am entitled to by law, we will have to see. I not holding my breath.

I enjoy shopping at Sainsbury's
I enjoy shopping at Sainsbury's - the stores are clean and the staff helpful. Today I picked up some fresh tomatoes - what a shame that a British company does not offer British tomatoes, only those from the Netherlands and other countries. I would have liked to contact the company with my comments but that is nigh impossible.
